I visited the Children of God Relief Fund, an orphanage for children with HIV in Nairobi. The orphanage consisted mainly of young boys. They had not yet returned from school when my driver, Peter, and I arrived. When they did return we spent time cleaning their rooms, shining their shoes and collecting laundry off a clothes drying line (all with their help). The most outogoing boy was the young man in the green striped polo shirt. When I was leaving he said, "You won't forget me?" And I promised I would not. They were all eager to show me photos of themselves. The boys live in small dormitories about 8 boys to each of 10 or so dormitories. One dormitory had a tv and guess what was on - Michael Jackson! The man in the photo with the light blue shirt is Peter and the man in the black shirt is one of the orphanage employees.
