Hyena and Rhino
Hyenas are scavengers. We saw them waiting for lions to finish eating their kill so they could get the leftovers. Another time the hyenas became interested in us and the truck we were in as we tried to tow another vehicle out of the mud. The vehicle was like a Volkswagon bus and its driver and two occupants drove to Mara Masai, Kenya from Nairobi, Kenya approximately a seven hour drive. When they reached the Mara Masai area they became stuck in the mud and we used our ancient Range Rover to tow them. It took about an hour and night was falling, the mosquitos were coming out and we needed to get back to camp before they closed the gates at nightfall. During this time the hyenas became curious. First one, then two and then three approached the area watching us.....
